Google's Exclusive Fastener Supplier for Industrial Liquid Cooling Systems in Taiwan


The liquid-cooled motherboard used in Google’s AI servers—manufactured by Cooler Master—employs a total of 16 specialized fasteners between the liquid cooling module (NVIDIA GB200) and the Power Distribution Board (PDB).


This setup must withstand frequent thermal cycling and slight mechanical vibrations, placing strict demands on the fastener’s structural integrity and assembly efficiency.


However, the current multi-component screw design (spring + washer + fastener) requires several assembly steps, leading to inefficiencies, missed installations, and higher costs—issues repeatedly flagged by the customer.


To address this, Google has commissioned the development of a new, all-in-one high-efficiency fastener that simplifies the process and improves overall production efficiency.

Google AI伺服器所使用的 Cooler Master 水冷散熱主板,其液冷模組(NVIDIA GB200)與PDB(Power Distribution Board)間,使用了共計16顆特殊固定螺絲。


此應用需承受高頻率換熱與機構微震,因此對扣件結構穩定性與組裝效率有嚴格要求。

然而現行螺絲為多件式設計(彈簧+墊圈+扣件分開),需多道工序組裝,客戶反映組裝效率低、易漏裝、成本增加。

 

為此,客戶委託由承毅興開發全新一體式高效組裝螺絲,以簡化工序並提升整體生產效率。
