Steward´s ferrite toroids provide high performance when wound and used as cores for transformers, inductors, or chokes. A variety of materials and core sizes allow performance to be optimized for application size and frequency. Steward offers materials which provide the high inductance and low losses desired for high frequency transformers, materials which provide high impedance for low frequency EMI suppression, and materials which provide high impedance for high frequency EMI suppression. Small-sized, custom part shapes are also available in Steward 35 and 40 materials for specialized filtering applications.

Features:
  • Steward 35 and 40 material ferrite toroids provide low losses and high performance in transformers at kHz to low MHz frequencies
  • Steward 35 and 40 material ferrite toroids provide high impedance below 10MHz for suppression of undesired signals
  • Steward 28 material ferrite toroids provide high impedance from 10MHz to over 500MHz
  • G coating is an epoxy with typical thickness of 0.0015 inch. Hipot rating is 500 VAC minimum
  • P coating is parylene with typical thickness of 0.0005 inch. Hipot rating is 1000 VAC minimum
